John Nehme has more than two decades of experience across all facets of the building and construction industry, including site management and project management for residential, multi-level residential, mixed-use and commercial projects. John received his Builder’s Licence at 21 and at just 23 he started Gaby Group in 2003, with his broad experience and skill giving him the incentive to venture out on his own developing and building for himself. Furthermore, co-founding JD Projects in 2011 undertaking various projects for clients within Sydney.

John takes on multiple roles across both companies, from director to developer and project manager. As a hands-on leader, he’s involved at all stages of a project, from tender through to handover, dealing directly with clients, consultants and sub-contractors. He’s instrumental in upholding the culture of both companies, driving business growth, nurturing repeat business and exploring new business opportunities. Committed to quality management and innovation, he ensures that projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest possible standards.



Having worked in the industry since 2001, Dany Shalala has a wealth of experience across the broad spectrum of the construction arena, undertaking roles including site manager and project manager for a variety of projects, from residential, multi-level residential and mixed-use to commercial developments. Responsible for overseeing the construction management and site management teams, Dany is actively involved in all elements of a project, from initial tender right through to delivery. With a meticulous eye for detail and a focus on quality management, he liaises with all stakeholders, from clients to consultants and sub-contractors, to ensure flawless management and the best possible outcomes.
